Automotive & mobility applications
Cooling Fans for Automotive & Mobility
Reference fan applications for vehicle electronics, EV power-control equipment, charging cabinets and automotive test systems.
Cooling requirements range from localized airflow around compact electronic modules to ventilation through larger charging and test enclosures. Start with the equipment’s heat load, electrical supply and installed airflow resistance.
Vehicle Electronic Modules
Reference applications include ECUs, dashboards, sensors, telematics and onboard cameras. Verify the available DC supply, mounting space, vibration and operating environment.
EV Charging & Power Cabinets
Ventilation for stationary charging equipment, power-control enclosures and related electronics. Check supply compatibility, filtration and the required airflow at pressure.
Automotive Test Equipment
Auxiliary airflow for test benches, aging equipment and laboratory inverter racks. Review continuous duty, heat load, inlet temperature and maintenance access.

Selection considerations
Define the complete cooling requirement
Supply voltage & control interfaces
Confirm supply type, operating voltage range, starting requirements and wiring. Specify speed control, feedback or alarm functions for the exact ordered variant.
Airflow at pressure
Filters, grilles, ducts and densely packed electronics add resistance. Use the fan curve at the required operating point, then check temperatures in the assembled equipment.
Read the PQ curve guide →Environment & service life
Evaluate ambient temperature, duty cycle, vibration, moisture, dust and corrosive exposure. Choose the bearing arrangement and plan access for cleaning or replacement.
Application-specific validation
Vehicle installation can require equipment-specific electrical, environmental, EMC and reliability review. The model table does not establish automotive qualification or suitability for a safety-critical function.
AC and DC axial fans can support heat dissipation in automotive and mobility equipment where the supply, airflow path and operating environment are compatible. Fan size alone does not establish delivered airflow or suitability.
Plan cooling for your mobility equipment.
